Set in the city’s former fire and police station on Pilgram Street, Hotel Gotham Newcastle is presented as a plush hotel with an exclusive club bar and fabulous dining venue. The Grade II listed building was originally designed by Cackett, Burns, Dick & Mackellar between 1931 and 1933, and has been reimagined with Gotham’s flair for the dramatic.
R&S Robertson worked with interior designer Oliver Redfern of Squid Inc to supply bespoke and custom decorative lighting spanning the guestrooms, bar and public spaces including suspended pendants made from repurposed fire hose from the sustainable luxury accessory designers Elvis & Kresse.
